Once geometry and measurements are put together you are ready to start signal processing the measurements in the various ways needed in order to perform modal analysis. The signal processing is performed in the Prepare Data Task. In case of the Building Model example the task window looks as below when started first time.

The task layout consists of the following windows:

• Data Organizer window
• Properties window
• Geometry window
• Signal Processing window
• Processed Data window

The primary window is the Signal Processing window which is the place where the processing is set up and executed from. Once the measurements has been processed the spectra's and other derived functions can be viewed in the Processed Data window. When the processing is done and you are satisfied with what you see in the Processed Data window it is time to go to e.g. the Modal Estimation task.
